Golfing Stuff
Master's
In April of 1999, I made the trek to golf's Holy Grail - The
Master's. As soon as I get the pictures back,
I'll try to put some here. For the moment, I traveled with some friends
of mine to South Carolina and got to golf in Charleston and Myrtle Beach.
If you can ever make it to Myrtle Beach to golf, you have to do it.
I golfed the Dunes, Litchefield and Kings North Golf courses. The
Dunes was a stop for the Senior tour at one time. I was not impressed
and thought the course was over rated. The Litchfield was flat but
fun as it wound through lots of trees and residential areas. And,
the Kings North was beyond belief. It was a Arnold Palmer design
course with a hole called the Gambler. Over all this course was one
of the best courses I've ever seen or played.
Augusta was amazing. If you ever get a chance to see the
place in person, do it. The course is even more beautiful then on
TV. TV does not do that place justice. One thing that does
not appear on TV is how hilly that place is. The course is just beyond
words of description. I hope to some day return to that place and
see it again.

Below are a few more pictures from our trip. Too bad I didn't
get any golf pictures. Nor did I even get pictures of the Pickett's.
Tracy's aunty and uncle that were incredibly gracious enough to put us
up for a few days while we were there in town. Thank you guys.
I really enjoyed it.
