Robert Coats EaSTOC report

For the riders on Friday, the rain did not bode well for rest of the weekend. While the sun did appear for a minute or two, and some dry spots were found on the road, the event would prove to be damp, windy and dull for most of the attendees. There was lots of "bench racing" on Saturday, and a some lively card games too. Even a brave pack would face the downpour and ride through the weather for a hot meal 15 miles away. In fact, it would have been a routine meeting of EaSTOCer's, had it not been for the mountain men and a broken down bus of wayward schoolgirls...
