Toolbar Icon Functions

   Capture an image or an image sequence.  See acquisition settings for details about the image capture settings.

  Place camera in continuous capture mode.  In this mode the the usual acquisition settings still apply (the number of frames is ignored), however the captured images are not saved.  This mode is particularly useful when focussing the camera.

   Stop image acquisition.  If a readout is underway, the readout terminates before the image acquisition is stopped.  The current image to be acquired or being acquired will not be saved.

    Changes the capture coordinates to the maximum CCD frame size.

    Runs a number of clearing scans of the CCD. 

   Shutter is closed.  Clicking on the icon will open the shutter on the main camera.

   Shutter is open.  Clicking on the icon will close the shutter on the main camera.

   Redo last image processing step.

   Undo last image processing step.

   Redraw the current image.

   Edit the palette for the current image.  If no image is loaded, the the default palette is loaded in the palette editor.

   Display information in the header of the current image file.

   Zoom out of the image by a factor of 1.5X.

   Zoom into the image by a factor of 1.5X.

   Zoom to the pixel scale of the image (i.e. one image pixel = 1 screen pixel).

   Zoom so that the image fits optimally in the available window space.

   Show statistics for the current image, or the current image sub-frame selection if applicable.
