Abstract: We present an analysis of the stellar mass growth over the last 10 Gyrs using an unprecedent large , sample of 22000 galaxies selected at 3.6 micron (SPITZER). Thanks to the MIR selection and , the deep optical data from CFHTLS, we can perform this analysis up z=2 which is a major, improvement wrt previous optically selected surveys that are limited to z~1.2., We split our sample in active-blue and red-quiescent galaxies and discuss the stellar mass evolution, for the different populations and the implications for galaxy formation scenarios., In particular we report the evidence for a major build-up of the red-quiescent galaxies, between z=2 and z=1.2.
