I will present the results of a pilot study searching for quasars in the CFHTLS Deep Fields. The lack of z%3E5.8 quasars in the Deep has led to new constraints on the luminosity function and quasar contribution to reionization. I will then discuss the ongoing survey for high-redshift quasars in the Very Wide component of the CFHTLS.
