Julien Bobroff Laboratoire de Physique des Solides, Universite Paris Sud & CNRS Modern physics has always been a challenging issue for outreach. It is often invisible, non-intuitive and written in sophisticated mathematics. In our Physics Reimagined research group, we explore new ways to present that field to the general public. Our approach is to develop close collaborations between physicists from the labs and designers or graphic artists. This new kind of dialogue helps us finding new ways to present complex phenomena and recent research topics to the public at large : website, animations, devices, exhibits, comic strips, stop-motion pictures... We will also discuss how this approach is part of a greater endeavor to renew outreach activities and links between scientists and society, including new youtube chanels, citizen science, social networks ...
